Executive Director Per Bylaws

Article IV Section 4: Colorado Federation of Young Republicans Bylaws

The executive director shall manage and oversee the execution of the strategic goals set by the CFYR chairman, including: Overseeing fundraising operations, Establishing and executing election-year campaign and field operations, Overseeing the accomplishment of strategic goals among the various committees of the CFYR, Overseeing chapter development among the vice-chair at large and regional vice chairs , and Overseeing and executing any other strategic initiatives as requested by the CFYR chairman

Hayden is a proud Colorado native and CU Boulder graduate. He has built a dynamic career in politics, working on campaigns ranging from Presidential and Senate races to local school board and city council elections. From being chased by dogs in the Georgia stix to forging coalitions that secured hard-fought victories in Colorado, he has honed a ground-up approach to political strategy.

 

Currently, he serves as the Deputy Communications Director for the Colorado Senate Republicans. Hayden has deep ties to his community; he leads kids' ministry at his church and volunteers extensively.

 

In his free time, he lifts weights, enjoys outdoor activities, or mentors youth. Fueled by faith and a desire to serve, Hayden is committed to making positive changes in his communities and state.

Josh’s political roots run deep - he was campaigning in parades by age 8 and became 2nd Vice Chair of the Logan County GOP at just 19. Now, as a 4th-generation Colorado rancher and seasoned conservative leader, he’s bringing Eastern Plains grit to the statewide stage. When he’s not managing Sonnenberg & Sons Cattle with his wife and kids, you’ll catch him behind the plate - umpiring baseball or coaching his boys’ teams. As Chair, Josh is on a mission to grow the bench and keep Colorado’s conservative movement charging forward. Let’s ride!

Sydney Carabelos National Committee Woman Colorado Young Republicans.jpg

Sydney’s journey started in a coffee shop and quickly grew into a passion for grassroots politics. She’s worked as an aide at the State Capitol, campaigned with the NRCC, and now serves Congressman Gabe Evans in D.C.

 

When she’s not fighting for conservative values, you’ll find her teaching violen, keeping bees, metalworking, creating art, hitting the gym, or playing at church.

Treasurer 

Tyler Linnebur is a proud Colorado native. He has spent his career working as a financial statement auditor. Tyler studied finance and accounting at the University of Denver and holds a CPA license. He currently is a economics mineral & energy graduate student at the Colorado of School of Mines and operating his small accounting firm, Linnebur Consulting PLLC. He also graduated from the Leadership Program of the Rockies.

 

Outside of his day job, Tyler has been involved as a member of the American Conservation Coalition, the Colorado Society of CPA's, the Steamboat Institute, and his church - Mission Hills Church. In his free time, Tyler enjoys spending time outside or with his family, friends, and dog, Crúz. He looks forward to contributing his accounting experience to help the Colorado Federation of Young Republicans.

Secretary 

​A proud Colorado State University Ram and former Chi Omega executive board member, Hailey has combined sharp leadership with a deep commitment to public service. She’s worked as a Legislative Aide at the State Capitol, digging into policy development, constituent services, and research to support conservative principles in action.

​

Hailey is passionate about individual liberty and Republican values, and she’s on a mission to grow outreach, engage the next generation of voters, and promote principled leadership across Colorado.

The CFYR national committeeman and national committeewoman shall attend and vote at each National Young Republicans committee meeting with the CFYR chairman.

National Committeeman

At just 23, Hunter has already built a powerhouse résumé. He’s led winning campaigns across Northern Colorado, flipped five seats in 2024, and currently serves as Chairman of the Weld County GOP. He’s worked at every level of the party, from grassroots boots-on-the-ground to the State Capitol, aiding leaders like Senator Barb Kirkmeyer and several top state representatives. Now that the state legislative session is over, Hunter serves as the Colorado State Director for the American Conservation Coalition.

 

A proud son of Northern Colorado, Hunter is relentless about electing conservatives, building the bench, and making sure the next generation has a seat at the table. When he’s not knocking doors or working the halls of power, you’ll probably catch him hiking, lifting weights, or hitting the golf course.

National Committeewoman

Tori brings a powerhouse background in political communications, brand strategy, and women’s leadership. A proud University of Oregon graduate, she’s built her career at the intersection of conservative media and strategic advising, leading marketing efforts at Rocky Mountain Voice and serving as Director of Communications at Sentinel Strategic Advisors.

 

Beyond her impressive career, Tori lives life fully - whether she’s adventuring outdoors, traveling to new places, or spending time with her golden retriever, Poppy Rose. She’s passionate about empowering the next generation, living with purpose, and leading with heart. â€‹

Regional Vice-Chairs

Vice-Chairs Per Bylaws

Article IV Section 8: Colorado Federation of Young Republicans Bylaws

The regional vice-chairs consisting of the: Northwest, Southwest, Front Range, and Eastern vice chairs shall supervise and coordinate the activities of the Young Republican chapters at the direction of the vice-chair at large. The regional vice-chairs shall be from the region they represent.

Northwest Vice-Chair

Born and raised in Colorado, James Ruehmann attended Cherry Creek High School and is currently studying Business Administration with a focus on Energy and Land Management at Colorado Mesa University.

 

In February, he founded Colorado First Action, a grassroots federal non-connected PAC dedicated to identifying and electing candidates who put Colorado First.

 

Previously, he co-founded the High School Republican National Federation, serving as Executive Director from 2022 to 2023, and worked as a communications consultant for the Colorado Republican Party. He has held roles on Centennial’s Youth Commission and as a legislative aide to Representatives Anthony Hartsook (HD 44) and Richard Holtorf (HD 65). Additionally, he supported Heidi Ganahl’s 2022 gubernatorial campaign and helped coordinate volunteer efforts for Francoise Bergan’s successful 2023 Aurora City Council race.

 

Committed to a Colorado First agenda, James continues to advocate for state-level conservative principles and the responsible growth of Colorado's energy industry.
