Article IV Section 4: Colorado Federation of Young Republicans Bylaws
The executive director shall manage and oversee the execution of the strategic goals set by the CFYR chairman, including: Overseeing fundraising operations, Establishing and executing election-year campaign and field operations, Overseeing the accomplishment of strategic goals among the various committees of the CFYR, Overseeing chapter development among the vice-chair at large and regional vice chairs , and Overseeing and executing any other strategic initiatives as requested by the CFYR chairman
Hayden is a proud Colorado native and CU Boulder graduate. He has built a dynamic career in politics, working on campaigns ranging from Presidential and Senate races to local school board and city council elections. From being chased by dogs in the Georgia stix to forging coalitions that secured hard-fought victories in Colorado, he has honed a ground-up approach to political strategy.
Currently, he serves as the Deputy Communications Director for the Colorado Senate Republicans. Hayden has deep ties to his community; he leads kids' ministry at his church and volunteers extensively.
In his free time, he lifts weights, enjoys outdoor activities, or mentors youth. Fueled by faith and a desire to serve, Hayden is committed to making positive changes in his communities and state.

Josh’s political roots run deep - he was campaigning in parades by age 8 and became 2nd Vice Chair of the Logan County GOP at just 19. Now, as a 4th-generation Colorado rancher and seasoned conservative leader, he’s bringing Eastern Plains grit to the statewide stage. When he’s not managing Sonnenberg & Sons Cattle with his wife and kids, you’ll catch him behind the plate - umpiring baseball or coaching his boys’ teams. As Chair, Josh is on a mission to grow the bench and keep Colorado’s conservative movement charging forward. Let’s ride!
Co-Chairman
Kolby Zipperer serves as Co-Chair of the Colorado Young Republicans, bringing a strong background in military service, grassroots leadership, and community involvement to the organization. A U.S. Navy veteran and small business owner from Colorado Springs, Kolby previously served as Chairman of the El Paso County Young Republicans, where he helped lead a period of tremendous growth through member recruitment, grassroots engagement, and local activism. As Co-Chair, he is committed to strengthening local chapters, supporting young conservative leaders, and expanding the Young Republican movement across Colorado.
Outside of politics, Kolby owns and operates a small business and enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and exploring Colorado with friends and family. His dedication to service, practical leadership, and conservative values continues to make him a respected voice within Colorado's Republican movement.

Vice-Chairwoman At Large
Sydney’s journey started in a coffee shop and quickly grew into a passion for grassroots politics. She’s worked as an aide at the State Capitol, campaigned with the NRCC, and now serves Congressman Gabe Evans in D.C.
When she’s not fighting for conservative values, you’ll find her teaching violen, keeping bees, metalworking, creating art, hitting the gym, or playing at church.
Treasurer
Tyler Linnebur is a proud Colorado native. He has spent his career working as a financial statement auditor. Tyler studied finance and accounting at the University of Denver and holds a CPA license. He currently is a economics mineral & energy graduate student at the Colorado of School of Mines and operating his small accounting firm, Linnebur Consulting PLLC. He also graduated from the Leadership Program of the Rockies.
Outside of his day job, Tyler has been involved as a member of the American Conservation Coalition, the Colorado Society of CPA's, the Steamboat Institute, and his church - Mission Hills Church. In his free time, Tyler enjoys spending time outside or with his family, friends, and dog, Crúz. He looks forward to contributing his accounting experience to help the Colorado Federation of Young Republicans.

She’s worked as a Legislative Aide at the State Capitol, digging into policy development, constituent services, and research to support conservative principles in action.

Article IV Section 7: Colorado Federation of Young Republicans Bylaws
The CFYR national committeeman and national committeewoman shall attend and vote at each National Young Republicans committee meeting with the CFYR chairman.
National Committeeman
Former Chairman of the Colorado Federation of Young Republicans, Jack Gilmartin serves as National Committeeman for the Colorado Young Republicans, representing Colorado within the Young Republican National Federation. During his tenure as Chairman, Jack led a period of significant organizational growth, focusing on grassroots activism, chapter development, membership expansion, and leadership development. His efforts helped strengthen the organization into a thriving statewide network dedicated to electing Republicans, advancing conservative principles, and preparing the next generation of Republican leaders.

Outside of politics, Jack is committed to public service. He proudly serves in the Colorado Army National Guard and has built his career around serving his nation, the State of Colorado, and in Law Enforcement. As National Committeeman, he works to strengthen Colorado's voice on the national stage, foster collaboration with Young Republican organizations across the country, and continue expanding opportunities for young conservatives to become engaged in the political process.

Madi Callahan serves as National Committeewoman for the Colorado Young Republicans, representing Colorado within the Young Republican National Federation. A dedicated conservative leader, Madi is passionate about grassroots engagement, leadership development, and strengthening the future of the Republican Party. She has served as Treasurer of the Douglas County Young Republicans, where she helped establish the organization's financial foundation while supporting its growth and long-term success. As National Committeewoman, she is committed to ensuring every county has a voice, supporting local chapters, and expanding opportunities for young conservatives to get involved across Colorado.

Outside of politics, Madi is a Corporate Accountant at a Fortune 500 company, specializing in intercompany accounting and financial consolidations. She brings the same professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence to her volunteer leadership as she does to her career. Whether mentoring future leaders, building stronger organizations, or representing Colorado on the national stage, Madi is dedicated to advancing conservative principles and helping shape the next generation of Republican leadership.

Article IV Section 8: Colorado Federation of Young Republicans Bylaws
The regional vice-chairs consisting of the: Northwest, Southwest, Front Range, and Eastern vice chairs shall supervise and coordinate the activities of the Young Republican chapters at the direction of the vice-chair at large. The regional vice-chairs shall be from the region they represent.
Front Range Vice-Chair
Lyle Kenitzer
Lyle Kenitzer serves as Front Range Vice-Chair for the Colorado Young Republicans, bringing years of leadership experience at both the local and state levels. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Fremont County Republican Party and Chairman of the Fremont County Young Republicans, where he has worked to strengthen grassroots engagement, grow membership, and build a more active conservative presence in his community. Lyle also previously served as President of the Colorado High School Republicans, demonstrating his longstanding commitment to developing young conservative leaders.

Passionate about advancing Republican principles and expanding opportunities for young activists, Lyle is dedicated to strengthening local chapters, supporting grassroots organizations, and ensuring the Front Range continues to play a vital role in the future of the Colorado Young Republicans. His experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to service make him a valuable leader for the organization and the next generation of Colorado conservatives.
Northwest Vice-Chair
Born and raised in Colorado, James Ruehmann attended Cherry Creek High School and is currently studying Business Administration with a focus on Energy and Land Management at Colorado Mesa University.
In February, he founded Colorado First Action, a grassroots federal non-connected PAC dedicated to identifying and electing candidates who put Colorado First.
Previously, he co-founded the High School Republican National Federation, serving as Executive Director from 2022 to 2023, and worked as a communications consultant for the Colorado Republican Party. He has held roles on Centennial’s Youth Commission and as a legislative aide to Representatives Anthony Hartsook (HD 44) and Richard Holtorf (HD 65). Additionally, he supported Heidi Ganahl’s 2022 gubernatorial campaign and helped coordinate volunteer efforts for Francoise Bergan’s successful 2023 Aurora City Council race.
Committed to a Colorado First agenda, James continues to advocate for state-level conservative principles and the responsible growth of Colorado's energy industry.
Southwest Vice-Chair
Delta Suckla
Delta Suckla serves as Southwest Vice-Chair for the Colorado Young Republicans, representing young conservatives across southwestern Colorado and working to strengthen the organization's presence throughout the region. She is the founder and Chair of the Montezuma County Young Republicans, where she has built a strong grassroots organization focused on leadership development, community engagement, and conservative activism. Delta also serves as a Legislative Aide at the Colorado State Capitol, giving her firsthand experience in the legislative process and public policy.

Delta is the daughter of State Representative Larry Suckla, as Southwest Vice-Chair, she is dedicated to expanding opportunities for young Republicans in rural Colorado, strengthening local chapters, and ensuring the voices of southwestern Colorado are well represented within the Colorado Young Republicans. Her experience, energy, and commitment to service make her a valuable leader for the organization and the future of Colorado's conservative movement.

Jake Hettinger
Jake Hettinger serves as Eastern Plains Vice-Chair for the Colorado Young Republicans, representing communities across eastern Colorado and working to strengthen the organization's presence throughout the region. He currently serves as Chairman of the Logan County Young Republicans, where he has focused on growing grassroots involvement, developing local leadership, and engaging young conservatives in the political process. Professionally, Jake serves as a Legislative Aide at the Colorado State Capitol, giving him firsthand experience in the legislative process and public policy.
Jake understands the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and the importance of rural communities. His background in agriculture, legislative service, and grassroots activism gives him a unique perspective as he works to ensure rural Colorado has a strong voice within the Young Republican movement. As Eastern Plains Vice-Chair, Jake is committed to supporting local chapters, expanding membership, and building the next generation of conservative leaders across Colorado.
